The Vess A8600 and A8800 combines performance and scalable on premise storage capacity ideal for video surveillance and data-intensive workloads of large enterprises Vess A8600 and A8800 are specially engineered for video recording and Intelligent Video Analytics (IVA) applications. Hardware options include PCI slots suitable for an additional Intel Xeon CPU (dual CPU option); or a GPU card can be used for video analytics or other processor intensive applications. PROMISE proprietary SmartBoostTM technology ensures robust, high-performance storage for video recording without frame drop; it has proven itself in the industry in thousands of large-scale deployments worldwide. Storage capacity of 320TB for the Vess A8600 and 480TB for the Vess A8800 plus huge scale up potential (320TB / 480TB) provides exibility for future growth. Capacity can be seamlessly added to an existing setup as needed using Vess R3000/J3000 external storage hardware connected via iSCSI interface Vess A8600 and A8800 simplies management of the surveillance network for daily operation. Integration of recorder and storage servers provides a total video surveillance solution combining VMS software and external storage. The legacy of the Vess A-Series is fully expressed in the Vess A8600 and A8800 with features integrated into the most popular VMS vendors.
