USB-C Docking Station Turns Your Microsoft Surface into a Versatile Workstation This multipurpose dock is compatible with any Surface device with a USB-C port. An adjustable clamp firmly secures the dock to compatible Surface devices up to 12 inches (30.5 centimeters) wide. You can connect to a wired Gigabit Ethernet network, transmit 4K video with audio to a larger screen, add a thumb drive and other USB peripherals, and charge your Surface, all at the same time. Note: This dock clamps to the following models: Surface GO, Surface GO 2, Surface GO 3, Surface Pro 7, Surface Pro 8 and Surface Pro X. It also works with other Surface devices with a USB-C port, but cannot clamp to them. Transmits Crystal-Clear 4K Video with Digital Audio The HDMI port supports Ultra HD resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 (4K x 2K) at 30 Hz. HDCP 2.3 compliance allows you to stream 4K Amazon and Netflix content with no complications. You may also connect to a DVI display by connecting an HDMI-to-DVI adapter (sold separately). USB 3.2 Gen 2 Ports Connect Keyboards, Thumb Drives and Other Peripherals Two USB-A ports and one USB-C port support USB 3.2 Gen 2 data transfer rates up to 10 Gbps for USB peripherals, such as flash drives, RAID storage, mice and keyboards. Another USB-A port supports USB 2.0 specifications for devices that require less speed. All ports are backward compatible with previous USB generations, so you can use legacy equipment. PD Charging Port Charges Host Device via AC Wall Charger The USB-C Power Delivery port supports power output up to 20V 5A (100W), which is more than sufficient for charging and powering the connected Surface. Just connect the device's wall charger to both the USB-C PD port and an AC outlet. Accesses a Wired Gigabit Ethernet Network The RJ45 port offers access to a Gigabit Ethernet network when Wi-Fi is unavailable or when a wired connection offers faster speeds. Connect using a UTP cable (sold separately), and enjoy true 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet speeds for fast data transfers. |
