ServSwitch Brand Dual-Video and Quad-Video CATx Remote Extenders enable you to extend your KVM signals up to 984.2 feet (300 m) with up to two or four separate video feeds. This way, you can make full use of CPUs with multiple video outputs.
All extender remote units feature built-in skew compensators so you can use CAT5, CAT5e, even CAT6 cable and always receive clear video. The image can be adjusted with simple keyboard commands or you can select a preset mode to help you find the right image balance quickly. All video settings are saved in nonvolatile memory.
You can also order extender versions that carry serial data and audio, so you can hear audio alerts on remote monitors and connect serial devices such as touch screens.
Dual-video versions are available as single-access KVM extender kits that include both local and remote extender units, as well as CPU and monitor cables. If you order the ACU2222A kit, you get serial and audio cables, too. You can also order the extender remote units by themselves to add to an existing application where youre using compatible local ServSwitch Extender units.
Quad-video extenders are remote units that need to be paired with a compatible Rackmount ServSwitch Brand CAT5 KVM Extender Hub (click on Accessories above). You will need one hub port for the keyboard and mouse signals plus the first video signal. For each additional video signal you use, you need one additional hub port.

Overview
The power of transparent USB ServSwitch Wizard™ USB SRX KVM Extender, Dual-Video, from Black Box combines VGA, USB 1.1 or USB 2.0, audio, and RS232 and sends them up to 164 feet across a single CATx cable. It's easy to fine-tune the video image on the remote unit and get crystal-clear stereo audio and transparent USB.
DDC EDID read and store support Modern graphics adapter cards - even with analog output - require the presence of Display Data Channel (DDC) information. Without it, they output low-quality video or none at all. The ServSwitch Wizard USB SRX Extender reads the DDC information from the attached display and stores it in the local unit's non-volatile memory.
Small form factor The ServSwitch Wizard USB SRX KVM Extender's compact chassis enables you to mount it side by side in the Rackmount Chassis for ServSwitch KVM Extender (ACU5000A). Use it to mount up to eight dual-video versions in just 2U.
Support for RS232 This model of the SRX series uses two CATx links to transmit the signals. The second video link carries a transparent RS232 port up to 19.2 kbps.
Local access The local unit has audio and VGA feed-through, giving you local access just by plugging a keyboard and mouse directly into the spare PC USB ports.
