Designed to capture AXIS Q1700-LE is specially designed to capture license plate images with exceptional clarity and sharpness. It delivers excellent HDTV 1080p and ensures the required pixel density for license plate identification as well as plate markings, such as transporting dangerous goods. Each camera captures traffic in one lane at a range of up to 100 m (328 ft) during daytime. For coverage of multiple lanes, more cameras can easily be installed. In pitch darkness the camera captures license plate images at up to 50 m (164 ft) and up to 100 m (328 ft) with the optional accessory AXIS T90D20 IR-LED Illuminator. AXIS Q1700-LE includes a built-in license plate capture assistant to ensure easy setup for best video performance. Simply enter the installation height, distance to the vehicle and expected speed, and the license plate capture assistant automatically adjusts the image settings to perfectly fit your specific scene. Tough for the road AXIS Q1700-LE captures license plate images with high pixel density at vehicle speeds of up to 130 km/h (81 mph). This robust and weatherproof camera includes an extra-long weathershield for protection in any environment. It can withstand hurricane force winds of more than 60 m/s (134 mph) and with IP66, NEMA 4X and IK10 ratings, you can be sure that it's resistant to both harsh weather conditions and impacts. Plus, the gray color housing and black weathershield blends right in to any traffic environment. Add any analytics AXIS Q1700-LE is compatible with AXIS Camera Station and most third-party video management systems (VMS), allowing you to use analytics or other third-party applications to meet your specific needs.
